George Alfred was living with his daughter, Lizzie Wheeldon at the timeof his death. His body was
returned to the Eubank Ky Cem for burial. All six sons of Elisha andSallie area buried there.
George Alfred was a store Keeper and farmer in Eubank Ky, before movingto Stearns to live with their daughter.His granddaughter remembers him as a gruff but gentle old man with aheavy, well trimmed white beard.
Politically he had strong feelings regarding the War between the States.When he was shown a silhouette of Lincoln prepared by this person as asecond grader--the response was "Humph, I wouldn't put that in my pigpen".The strongest "profanity" he ever used was "Dad Burned"

(White's swelling,whatever that is). She had very painful arthritis and was bed riddenmost of her life in Stearns. And the foolish doctor there started her onmorphine for the pain. She became addicted--and this added to the careproblem.
