1562. James Asbury Eastes
James was never very happy farming and quit as soon as his dad died and left him
some acreage. He was extremely good with his hands and could build or fix
anything. He was granted two patents. The first was for a washing machine
but was not successful as the electric washer came along at this time.The
second was for a cultimulture which was cross between a disc harrow and a
cultipacker. There was some interest in this but he recieved no moneyfor it.
Several years latter, Jon Deere had on on display at the Indiana Statefair.

Annabel and Robert Kellar had one son who was killed as an InstructorPilot.
Robert H. Keller graduated from Purdue University in 1948 as anAeronautical
Engineer and went to work for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle Washington. Heworked
on Air Force B-47s, B-52s and commercial 707s. Robert h and AnnabelEastes had
a son Robert Warren who was killed in a crash while working as anInstructor
Pilot.Robert H. Keller graduated from Purdue University in 1948 as anAeronautical

Allen and Stella did not have any children but they raised a young boy,Frank
Saxton who was from Anderson Indiana. Frank's father was killed whileworking in
the InterUrban Switching Yards in Anderson.
